France24 Interview with Prof. Behar-Villegas

In an interview with France 24, Prof. Dr. Erick Behar-Villegas, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Berlin International, discussed some of the economic impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic, which mark the end of 2020 and a worrying beginning for 2021. Prof. Dr. Behar-Villegas highlighted the growing concern about the rise of poverty, mentioning that more than 200 million people may fall into poverty due to the economic crisis. Moreover, emerging economies face a special challenge due to the informal structure of the economy, which makes them more vulnerable to poverty traps.
