The first paper, “Organizational Strategies for Employee Well-being: Balancing Work-Life Demands in the Tech Industry”, was presented at the 1st Workshop on Challenges and Opportunities in Digital Transformation (CODiT). Co-authored with Prof. Dr. Jennifer Hynes and Aslı Berat Acar, a current BA student at Berlin International, the paper explores strategies for maintaining employee well-being in the fast-paced tech sector.
The second paper, “Factors and Consequences of Loneliness in the Digital Workplace: A Systematic Literature Review and Framework for Empirical Testing”, was presented at the 15th Workshop on Business and IT Alignment (BITA). Co-authored with Feline Kreye, a BI alumna who graduated last year, and Prof. Dr. Jennifer Hynes, the study examines the causes and effects of loneliness in digital work environments.
Finally, Prof. Dr. Koç, together with Prof. Dr. Jennifer Hynes, presented the paper “Designing Human-Centric Digital Workplaces: A Bibliometric Analysis of Technology-Related Stressors in Flexible Working Arrangements” at the main conference. This work investigates how technology influences stress in modern flexible workplaces, offering insights for designing more human-centric digital environments.
Through his presentations at BIR 2025, Prof. Dr. Hasan Koç highlighted Berlin International’s commitment to cutting-edge research in Data Science & Business, combining academic rigor with practical insights for the evolving digital workplace.
