The Mentoring Program offers support for students new to our university and Berlin. 2nd and 3rd act as mentors for the 1st year students. The nature of the relationship, how often they meet and what specifically mentees would like to talk about can all be determined on a personal level. The mentorship programs give new students a direct contact person at the university. The goal is to make the transition to Berlin International a more seamless experience.
The Hans-Dieter Klingemann Library pursues three primary objectives, such as supplying specialized information, promoting information literacy as well as serving as institutional memory. All of the objectives are directly concerning the academic life of students and teachers at Berlin International.
The Student Council represents the student’s interests and needs towards the administration. Elected representatives meet once a week and discuss various initiatives to improve the university for the students. One representative is elected per study program. Any of its members can be approached through email at any time during your studies to inquire about concerns regarding student life at the university.
The BI Career Center helps students and alumni to fulfil their career goals. It is the link between our students and companies & organizations. We encourage all our students to use the BI Career Center to find interesting vacancies or career events, to connect with companies and to profit from career tips & guidance.
The Berlin-International campus houses a workshop for students to work on their projects. There are tools to assist you in model-making, wood working, metal working and more. Student assistants and the workshop manager can help you get started and answer questions you may have about the machinery and what is possible.
