Stephanie Brandt, Dipl.-Kffr.
Business Administration
In the course of her professional career in international corporations, Stephanie Brandt has gotten to know the various facets of the management accounting and reporting function and later even defined them herself. The preparation of budgets, periodic closing procedures, and the resulting analysis belonged to her area of responsibility as well as the product and project calculation and the creation of business cases. In addition to financial reporting, Brandt defined operational key figure systems for production, sales, and after-sales services and designed scenarios for savings and outsourcing programs, and monitored their implementation. As a key player in various projects, she introduced business intelligence applications and implemented a shared services concept for her specialist department.
Currently, she is witnessing the transition process of pure management accounting to business analytics fostered by the introduction of Big Data and digitalization which will transform the way of corporate decision-making and management. It gives her great pleasure to be a part-time lecturer for the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences, to share her experiences, exchange thoughts and ideas and gain valuable impulses.
