Martin Jaramillo is an economist, and business administrator from Manizales, Colombia, and has lived in several states in The United States, in Bologna, Italy, and in Bogotá, Colombia (where he currently resides). He is currently finishing his master's degree in applied economics from Universidad de Los Andes and has worked in management consulting for several years for top companies. Martin has experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, in applied economic regulations and economic research. His teaching experience at Spring Hill College and Gran Colombia University includes microeconomics, macroeconomics, international finance, financial analysis, and business strategy. He writes a biweekly op-ed column in El Espectador, the most prestigious newspaper in Colombia.
