
Panel discussion "Architecture will change"
To kick off the 7th Research Day at the beginning of December, an interdisciplinary panel discussion "Architecture will change" will take place virtually at TU Darmstadt. Prof. Dr. Carola Ebert, Dean of the Architecture and Design Faculty and Head of Program, MA Interior Design at Berlin International, will be chairing this panel together with the Vice President of the TU Darmstadt Jens Schneider.
Six speakers will present their diverse perspectives on conceivable and necessary changes in architecture and their effects on occupational profiles. The curator Teresa Fankhänel (Architekturmuseum TU München), the author Daniel Fuhrhop (Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg), the speaker Inga Glander (Bundesstiftung Baukultur), the architect and publicist Anh-Linh Ngo (co-editor ARCH+), the architect Verena Schmidt (Teleinternetcafe Architektur und Urbanismus, Berlin) and Fabian Thiel (Professor of Real Estate Valuation, Frankfurt UAS) will give short keynote speeches about their individual experiences with overarching perspectives and their divergent positions.
