About Fala Atelier
Following his graduation in 2013 from Zurich, Ahmed Belkhodja founded Fala Atelier in Porto, together with Ana Luisa Soares and Filipe Magalhães. Fala Atelier is known for its distinct approach to architecture, often described as optimistic and naive, which has garnered recognition through numerous awards, publications, and exhibitions both in Portugal and internationally. “Trying something is more important than doing things ‘correctly’” is their self-described approach. Notably, their work was featured in a monograph published by 2G/Walther Koenig, and Fala Atelier received the prestigious 2020 Spotlight Award at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Additionally, Domus magazine ranked Fala Atelier among the top fifty architectural firms in the world in 2020.
