BI Graduation - Class of 2022

Berlin International University of Applied Sciences (BI) honored its graduates of the Class of 2022 in the degree programs of the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Faculty of Business Administration on Saturday, October 22.

The Graduation Ceremony took place at Kino International, a renowned movie theater and a prominent venue of the Berlinale.

The ceremony began with a speech by the President of Berlin International University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Yüksel Pöğün-Zander, Ph.D. She welcomed our graduates, their families, honored guests, and members of the BI community. Afterward, the Chairman of BAU Global Network, Enver Yücel, congratulated the graduates on their success.

On this occasion, the Honorary President of Berlin International, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Hans-Dieter Klingemann and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir University, Hüseyin Yücel, presented the second Christian Wulff Scholarship to Joel Muheirwe Mugisha for his outstanding academic achievements.

Other guest speakers included Adam Skafi, a digital innovator and co-founder of Kidling, a company specializing in the digitization of early childhood education. He is a key representative of Berlin's vibrant tech industry. In his speech, he emphasized how digital transformation is impacting all areas of education.

In addition, the Deans of the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Faculty of Business Administration presented the "Best Student", "Best Bachelor's Thesis" and "Best Master's Thesis" awards to the respective students who have shown great dedication and commitment during their studies.

Finally, the students were called to the stage and received their diplomas as a recognition of their continuous hard work and dedication during their studies at Berlin International.
