BAU Conference and Interview

From 17-18 May BAU International Berlin will be hosting the international conference INTERIOR - INFERIOR - IN THEORY? at the Deutsches Architektur Zentrum DAZ in Berlin-Mitte. 

Organised by Prof. Dr. Carola Ebert, the conference brings together interior design researchers, educators, and professionals from different countries to discuss contemporary theoretical positions within/about the discipline. What constitutes interior design/interior architecture? How may its relationship to architecture and design be defined and reflected theoretically? How is this discipline researched and understood professionally in different countries?

Coinciding with the conference, Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten BDIA and the magazine AIT published an interview with Prof. Ebert about the interior design as a profession, its theory and potential future developments (in German).
