Carpet Vista

"TRI. is standing for triangle. In my eyes it is a modern shape which has been used a lot nowadays. It becomes to a really popular shape in designing products, paintings ect. So I thought about creating a modern and sytlish carpet by organizing a pattern with this specific shape. This design give the interior space an interesting and lively atmosphere because it's pattern including different shades of violet and beige."- Louise Man, Interior designer, 3rd Semester.

One of our brilliant students, Chi Ying Louise Man competed and achieved one of the third place awards in this year's Carpet Vista competition. In 2017, the competition has received 17.000 submissions from 92 countries. Louise's design is seen above. Each year CarpetVista organizes a Design Competition open to everyone who wishes to participate. The aim is to create an innovative and timeless carpet design that if chosen, will be produced in a limited edition and sold exclusively on CarpetVista. The response has been overwhelming with thousands of participants from all over the world.
