Admission Requirements
To meet the admission requirements for our bachelor programs in business administration, applicants will need the German Abitur/Fachabitur or equivalent. Any foreign qualification will need to meet the equivalence criteria to these German certificates, which are set by the German Central Office for Foreign Education.

Preparatory Course
If your current educational qualifications do not fully meet the Abitur/Fachabitur level in Germany and you will need a preparatory course or additional studies, you can apply for our International Year One program.
The entry requirements for the International Year One program are:
- Subject-restricted admission to a Preparatory Course
- Secondary school-leaving certificate
- Proof of English language proficiency: (min. IELTS 6.0)

The Berlin campus is accredited by the state of Berlin and the German Council of Science and Humanities and offers German and American academic systems. Finances
If you are coming from a country outside the EU, you may be asked to provide evidence of adequate financial resources (e.g., a blocked bank account) during the visa application process. Find out more here.
Attendance
All courses at Touro are conducted in person. If your arrival is delayed (e.g., waiting for a visa), you can take 4-5 online classes in the first semester. Online courses remain online for the whole semester. You are expected to arrive in Berlin in time to start your second semester in person. Upon request, student housing options can be shared.
Placement exams
Before the International Year One starts, you will complete mandatory college writing and math placement exams. The exam results will determine which level of math and college writing classes you will be placed into when you begin your studies at Touro.
