Celebrating Excellence: Graduation Ceremony 2025 at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences
On October 18, 2025, the Konzertsaal of Universität der Künste in Berlin came alive with joy, pride, and celebration as Berlin International University of Applied Sciences hosted its Graduation Ceremony 2025. Graduates, faculty, families, and friends gathered at Hardenbergstraße 33, 10623 Berlin, to honor the achievements of the Class of 2025.
The ceremony began with the entrance of graduates and attendees, followed by a warm welcome and opening address by Prof. Yüksel Pöğün-Zander, PhD, President of Berlin International University of Applied Sciences. Her inspiring words set the tone for a day filled with recognition, reflection, and celebration.
A special moment followed with the Christian Wulff Scholarship presentation, where Daniel Anyiam was honored for his exceptional achievements. The ceremony also celebrated outstanding contributions in architecture and design with the bdia award, recognizing Master students Sophia Pasquialini and Luna Gilly, and Bachelor students Leonie Todd and Karl Columbus for their exemplary work and creativity.
Throughout the ceremony, the Oriel Quartett provided musical interludes that added elegance and charm to the event.
One of the highlights of the day was the announcement of the Best Students of the Year 2025. In the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Leonie Marieke Todd earned recognition as both Best BA Thesis and Best Student, while Marcia Maria Koch Fuentes was celebrated for the Best MA Thesis. In the Faculty of Business Administration, Vanda Vinecka and Seok Joon Kang were awarded for Best BA and MBA Theses, respectively, and Nadiia Kuzmenko was named Best Student.
Adding a personal touch, Evelyn Claire Lietz delivered the student address, reflecting on her journey and the shared experiences of her classmates.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of the Graduates 2025 from both faculties, celebrating their hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments. The formal program concluded with a reception, where graduates, faculty, and guests mingled, shared stories, and took photographs to capture this memorable milestone.
