The link between educational attainment and marital status among women has been a subject of much research interest in recent years. It is widely recognized that education is a key determinant of women's labor market outcomes and that marital status can also impact women's economic well-being. The purpose of this project work is to analyze the existing literature on the relationship between educational attainment and marital status among women both in developing and developed countries and to identify the key problem statements, goals, and research objectives in this area.

Findings
In Africa and Asia, access to education and marriage opportunities vary greatly across different countries and cultures. Women's educational attainment levels are generally lower in these regions, and early marriage is more common.
Despite these improvements, women in Africa and Asia still face significant challenges in achieving educational and economic empowerment, as well as greater gender equality. The relationship between educational attainment and marital status can play a crucial role in shaping women's opportunities and outcomes in these regions.
In Europe, women's education and marital status are closely linked, with higher levels of education often associated with delayed or decreased marriage.
Women who pursue higher education may face social stigma or may be seen as prioritizing their ambitions over their responsibilities as wives and mothers.
Without access to education and economic opportunities, women may have limited options outside of marriage and may be more likely to prioritize marriage over their education.
Political instability, conflict, and economic insecurity can make it difficult for women to access education and economic opportunities and may make marriage a more appealing option for securing economic stability and social status.
