Dr. Manfred G. Lieb is a Professor of Management at Heilbronn University since 1989. He studied Management at the Technische Universität Berlin and at Mannheim University. He completed his studies as "Diplom Kaufmann" at Mannheim University. Afterwards, he worked as a researcher (Prof. Alfred Kieser) and wrote his dissertation (Dr. rer. pol.). Mr. Lieb was full time executive with the Benckiser group (now ReckittBenckiser) for several years. In 1989, he got a call from Heilbronn University as a Professor of Management. Since then he has held different positions (at the Faculty of International Business), as Dean of the Faculty, Dean of Students Affairs and Head of the Examination Board. From 2000 until 2004, he was a member of the board at Heilbronn University. His research projects covered successful strategic management in the German fashion industry, success strategies in the German automotive supplier industry, digital business in tourism and success strategies in the digital landscape. His teaching activities cover: Strategic Management, Strategic Marketing, Organizational Structure and Design, Digital Business, Digital Marketing - eMarketing.
