Nertos Gutierrez
General Vocational Preparation: Introduction to Model Making
Nertos is an architect, designer, and maker based in Berlin. He studied architecture at the ETSAM of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He works as a Project Architect for Herzog & de Meuron Architects in Berlin after having collaborated during the last years in distinguished architectural offices across Europe.
Besides his professional practice, in 2015, he founded Atelier La Juntana, a workshop that explores architecture, design, and creative fabrication through critical making, challenging the boundary between traditional craftsmanship and digital design. As part of this exploration, he organizes a Summer School that each edition welcomes international students who share a common interest in the theme of making.
