"The End of Innocence" Exhibition
Berlin International is pleased to invite you to the presentations and exhibition opening of our Speculative Design Exhibition, "The End of Innocence" in cooperation with PIONEERS Agency.
It is our great pleasure to announce the opening of the exhibition, which presents the impressive works of our 36 students of the 4th semester BA Graphic Design & Visual Communication under the guidance of Prof. Henrik Rieß and Luca Bogoni, Dipl.-Des.
Together, as part of the module Graphic Design Project 2, they have engaged with the current trends and signals in the content creation industry and speculated on their potential developments. On Wednesday, June 21st, they will present a Speculative Design exhibition with the title "The End of Innocence - The Futures Content Creation," which explores possible future spaces of Content Creation for the year 2037.
This exploration has resulted in 11 individual perspectives contemplating desirable as well as media-critical futures, negotiating the tension between emerging technologies and societal hopes and desires. In particular, the students dealt with issues of remix culture through AI, the individual needs for representation and visibility, as well as questions of value orientation in a world increasingly vying for the attention of their target audiences.
These 11 perspectives are presented as dioramas, supplemented by prototypical artifacts, which make a possible 2037 experienceable and discussable for visitors!
The exhibition, which will take place in the former Deutsche Bahn workshop halls, the Nåpoleon Complex, starts at 7:00 pm and goes until 9:00 pm.
The exhibition opening is a great opportunity to learn more about our Faculty of Architecture and Design's degree programs, in particular the BA Graphic Design & Visual Communication, and to get in touch with our talented students and faculty.
We would like to thank the team at PIONEERS for their support and collaboration.
We can't wait to share with you the dedication, creativity, innovation, and professional skills that our students have demonstrated over the past few months. We invite you all to join us at the Nåpoleon Complex to welcome this exciting exhibition.
