About the Talk
Artificial Intelligence plays an increasingly important role in customer and process analysis. This talk provides insights into current research projects and their theoretical foundations.
A key focus will be a research project in the field of customer market research, where an AI-based solution is being developed to analyze customer behavior for a leading company. In addition, the session will explore how process mining can be used to automate process analysis in practice.
The talk will also address the complexity and energy consumption of AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
About the Speaker
Michael Möhring is a Professor of Data Science at the Herman Hollerith Teaching and Research Center (HHZ) within the Department of Computer Science at Reutlingen University. He also serves as Associate Dean at HHZ.
His research focuses on data analytics, machine learning, business process management, consumer analytics, and Industry 4.0. Prior to this, he was a professor at the East Bavarian University of Applied Sciences (OTH) in Amberg-Weiden.
