A Look Back at Our First-Ever Sports Day
We could not have asked for a better inaugural Sports Day at Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences (formerly Berlin International University of Applied Sciences).
The event brought together students, faculty, and staff for a day beyond the classroom — filled with sport, teamwork, encouragement, and time to connect as a university community.
Coming Together Beyond the Classroom
University life is shaped not only by lectures, projects, and academic work, but also by the moments that bring people together.
Sports Day created space for our community to play, relax, cheer each other on, and enjoy the summer atmosphere together. It was a chance for students and faculty to meet in a different setting, share energy outside the classroom, and take part in something new for the university.
A Day of Sport, Team Spirit, and Community
From friendly competition to moments of support from the sidelines, the day showed the strength of our student community.
Seeing so many students and faculty take part, support each other, and enjoy the event together made this first Sports Day a meaningful start to what we hope will become a lasting university tradition.
A special thank you goes to our Student Council for organising the event and making this first Sports Day possible.
We are also grateful to all students, faculty, and staff who participated, supported the teams, and contributed to the positive atmosphere throughout the day.
Congratulations to the winning teams, and thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success.
Our first Sports Day was a strong reminder of how important shared experiences are in building a connected and active university community.
We are already looking forward to the next one.
