First BI Newspaper
In June 2025, something new and long overdue arrived on campus: the very first issue of the BI Newspaper.
Created by a small and passionate team of students, alumni, and staff, the newspaper brings together stories that reflect life at Berlin International from the inside. You’ll find interviews with professors, personal essays from recent graduates, comics, photography, and reflections that move between cities, cultures, and studio deadlines. It’s a reflection of everyday life at BI, spontaneous, sincere, and shaped by the people who make this place what it is.
This first issue also marks 10 years of Berlin International , a milestone that made space for looking back, but also for capturing what BI feels like right now.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to Ema Humajova, BI alumna and editor of the first issue, who brought the whole thing to life.
