Ayşe Tuğçe Pınar Akın

Ayşe Tuğçe Pınar Akın  completed her undergraduate studies in Architecture at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). During her studies, she actively took part in numerous national and international workshops as an organizer, facilitator, and participant. Following graduation, she gained professional experience in various architectural offices, contributing to projects of different scales and contexts. She simultaneously pursued the MSc in Architectural Design at ITU, completing her thesis in 2022. Since 2020, she has been working as a research assistant at ITU and continues her academic journey in the PhD Program in Architectural Design at the same institution. Her writings based on architectural design studio experiences have been published in several journals and have contributed to transforming project processes into exhibitions. In the 2025/26 academic year, she will serve as a visiting scholar at Berlin International University of Applied Sciences.
