Andres Delgado
Product Design
Andres Delgado is an industrial designer, born in Colombia, trained in Canada, and based in Germany. He studied product design at Dawson College in Montreal and Integrated Design at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. He has worked in the fields of robotic sportive equipment, household appliances, and more recently in exhibition design.
His approach to design is based on the understanding that an object acquires meaning as the sum of all of its dimensions. Hence a good designer does not limit him or herself to the boundaries of their main discipline but has a sensitivity to perceive design as a holistic language. He is deeply interested in the role of design as a tool for critical thinking and catalyzer of transformations in societal practices.
Currently, he is part of the design team at Archimedes Exhibitions where his role consists of mediating between concept and manufacturability for the creation and realization of brand and science communication spaces.
