Mentoring Program
The start of studying brings numerous challenges for students: getting to know university structures, finding orientation in the course, making friends and getting to know Berlin as a new place of residence. The current pandemic situation also makes it difficult to integrate into campus life. Many activities still cannot take place and have been restricted.
Berlin International would like to make it easier for its students to start their studies. For this reason we have launched a mentoring program. The idea of the program is that students in a higher semester act as a contact person for new students in the first semester and support them as a mentor. The nature of the mentoring relationship can be defined and agreed upon personally - from structured meetings in small groups to simply a virtual exchange of contacts. This makes it easier for students to start their studies.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor at BI or if you would like to participate in the program as a mentee, please contact Dr. Claudia Baumann: baumann@berlin-international.de
