Born in the State of New York, USA, Walker moved to Germany in 1990. In 2007, he received his Abitur in South Germany, thereupon moving to Berlin to commence his legal studies at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, where he focused on the fields Legislative Process and Legal Policy. After completing his first State Exam in 2013, Walker pursued his legal clerkship at the superior Court of Justice Berlin and taught Criminal Law as an external teaching assistant at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He received his second State Exam in 2016.
Since 2015 Walker is with the media law firm BREHM & v. MOERS. After working there as a research associate, he now advises clients as attorney at law in copyright, media and corporate law matters, with a strong focus on the games industry. Alongside his legal practice, Walker is currently working on his PhD in copyright law, supervised by Prof. em. Dr. Artur-Axel Wandtke at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin.
