Sylvia Thys (M.A. Design & Media) has been a research assistant at University of Hannover working in the field of project development for a Design Thinking based innovation project since 2016. Her research interest is the field of theory of creativity and the interactions between creativity and space. As an interior designer (journeyman’s certificate) Mrs. Thys got to know the perspectives and interests of the craft industry. In her interior design studies at the University of Art and Design Burg Giebichenstein (B.A. Interior Design) artistic and design skills were added to the technical approach. For several years she has worked as an employee as well as independently in the area of exhibition design and trade fair construction in Berlin. In her master's program at the University of Hannover, Mrs. Thys researched the future prospects of permanent exhibitions in museums. She also gained valuable experience supporting teaching work for various classes at University of Art and Design Burg Giebichenstein.
