Prof. Jakob Lehr, Dipl.-Des.
Graphic Design & Visual Communication
Jakob Lehr is an Interaction Designer and design teacher. He holds a Diploma degree in Visual Communications from Berlin University of Arts. Over the last two decades, he has designed award-winning media experiences for cultural institutions and commercial clients alike (with ART+COM, Fjord and others).
He held a teaching position as Professor (ad interim) of Design at Osnabrueck University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2016. Based in Rotterdam, he was Teacher of Practice at the Industrial Design Engineering department for Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands (2016-2018).
One of his current research interests is Biographical Traces and Memory in the Digital Age. In addition to his teaching work, he plays with data by coding and building interactive objects that address intriguing questions of our time.
