Futurium Excursion
On a sunny October weekend, the 3rd-semester Graphic Design and Visual Communication students and lecturers went on a research excursion to the Futurium in Berlin. After a long pandemic, when there were little options for excursions, this was an opportunity to get a practical, interactive, and on-location learning experience.
The Futurium is an interactive museum where visitors can discover many possible futures. The content revolves around the question “How do we want to live” which is a perfect starting point and inspiration for the students who were prompted to choose a subject matter for the project "The Butterfly Effect.” Based on their chosen topic, the students will develop a one-minute, narrated animated video in teamwork.
The excursion is part of the Motion Graphics and Animation course facilitated by the lecturers and motion- designers Ulrike Kerber and Nico Buenaventura.
