BI at Girls'Day 2021
Berlin International is participating in Girls'Day 2021 by offering an online event for girls who want to learn about new careers at the interface between management and data science. Because companies and organizations in the digital age need employees with two sets of competencies: Skills in data science and business analytics on the one hand and management know-how with a global perspective on the other. Prof. Dr. Hasan Koc, who is currently researching on the topics of platform economy, business model transformation and data science, and Izabela Ahmad, MA, Diversity Officer and Global Recruitment Manager at BI, will conduct this virtual offering. We will highlight these new career fields and also introduce our BA Digital Business & Management program, which brings together human and artificial intelligence.
Girls'Day - Mädchen-Zukunftstag is a nationwide project for stereotype-free career and study orientation for girls. On this annual day of action, schoolgirls get to know professions or fields of study in which the proportion of women is less than 40 percent, and thus gain their first insights into working worlds that were previously unknown to them. In predominantly digital events, the girls have the opportunity to try things out and make contacts with different institutions at an early stage.
This year, Girls'Day will take place on Thursday, 22 April 2021, predominantly digitally! Interested schoolgirls can register for our and/or other events via the Girls'Day 2021 campaign page here.
