Elena Ambacher, M.A.
Architecture
Elena Ambacher studied architecture at the University of the Arts Berlin, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, and the Institute of Technology Karlsruhe. She completed her master's degree with distinction and received the Max Taut Prize. She is particularly interested in the use of digital design tools to generate new perspectives on design processes. Alongside her studies, she gained practical experience at MVRDV and at FAR Frohn + Rojas, and assisted in teaching at the Department for Structural Design at the University of the Arts Berlin. In the summer of 2021, she taught an Arduino/Processing course, which focused on programming and creating interactive prototypes. Since 2021, she has been working as an architect at Bollinger + Grohmann where she specializes in building physics and sustainable design.
